PARED Foundation, I AM A TEACHER Branding
Teachers often face demanding work pressures and feel undervalued. This contributes to burnt out and teachers leaving the profession which in turns create a shortage of educators in Australia. The ‘I Am a Teacher’ initiative by Pared Foundation aims to address this by creating a professional development program that is both practical and restorative. The logo needs to be designed to feel uplifting and inspiring, reflecting a program that not only equips teachers with skills, supports their wellbeing and foster meaningful connection and community amongst fellow educators. Ultimately, the goal is to encourage and inspire teachers to stay in the industry .

Create space for personal development, professional learning, and authentic human formation. Attract teachers to attend the events which are held once a term. Empower teachers and make them feel seen. Foster personal connection and community amongst teachers.
Communicate the four pillars of the program: Professional Growth, Authentic Community, Personal Renewal, and Human Formation.
Ultimately retain more teachers in the long run and inspire the next generation of teachers to stay in the industry.

Brand Strategy:
The logo designed to feel human and friendly, with the sun as a central symbol of hope and warmth. The colour palette was built on colour psychology, pairing a nurturing, calming teal with a warm and energising orange. To give the team independence, a suite of Canva templates was developed so program coordinators could create their own social media and marketing assets with ease.

Great feedback from teachers who attended the event. Attendance and awareness increasing steadily over time. More engagement in social media and increased public awareness of the program.
