The Growing Hearts Podcast is designed to ignite discussions that help nurture families’ Catholic faith adventure through meaningful conversations designed to help parents explore ways to grow a vibrant and enduring faith in their homes. They were looking to refresh the branding expand their reach and be more gender neutral.

Expand the podcast's reach by attracting more families, make the branding more inclusive. Establish trust with Catholic families by conveying authenticity and real day to day Catholic values.

Brand Strategy:
The heart and vine motif was simplified into a scalable graphic symbol, with updated typography and an abbreviated logo version created to ensure legibility at small sizes such as thumbnails. A visual system and Canva templates were developed so that by adhering to the system and guidelines, brand consistency in both language and visuals is maintained. A new colour palette was also introduced to communicate warmth and calmness.

The refresh was met with positive feedback, with clients noting the brand now feels more inclusive and accessible.
Old Branding
The existing branding was still largely effective; however, there were visibility issues with the heart and vine illustrations. These elements did not scale well and became difficult to read at smaller sizes. While this posed practical challenges, the Christian symbolism of the vine is integral to the brand and needed to be retained in the refreshed identity. Additionally, the absence of a clear system or guidelines for social tile design resulted in a grid that lacked overall cohesion. The team would also revise the colour palette to make sure it is more gender neutral and inclusive.
